Sound It Out- For Littles- Age 4-6, Tuesdays, May 6th to June 9th, 5:30pm-6:15PM
Sound It Out: For Littles is a cozy, creative introduction to music and emotional learning designed especially for early childhood. In this playful group setting, young children explore sounds, rhythms, and feelings through sensory play, musical games, and storytelling—guided by gentle routines and familiar characters like our soft crocheted moose.
Each session invites Littles to:
Explore steady beats and simple rhythms using shakers, hand drums, and movement
Sing call-and-response songs that support emotional naming and social connection
Learn about musical opposites—loud/soft, fast/slow, high/low—as metaphors for emotional states
Participate in musical stories that model self-regulation, empathy, and expression
Build routines that promote emotional safety, co-regulation, and confidence
Whether we’re tiptoeing like a quiet bunny, stomping like a loud dinosaur, or singing hello to our feelings, For Littles creates a joyful space where music helps children understand themselves—and connect with the world around them.
