Music has been used for centuries as a form of communication, celebration, meditation, and even mourning. The sounds created by music can tell a story or help you to process an emotion without even using words. Using the letters from the word “musician” you can spell “I Can Music” and that’s where the premise for this company was born. Music is an important tool that can be used in many parts of your life. It can teach you communication, team work, humility, bravery, understanding and love. At “I Can Music” we want you to believe you can too. We use positive reinforcement, encouraging language and a fun and upbeat attitude to enhance your learning. We hope that you’ll consider a class with us to encourage your emotional wellness and your musical ability at the same time.

Music Classes
Think Mommy and Me music classes, but now it’s for everyone! This class creates a bonding experience for children and their caregivers. Everyone is welcome no matter what your tiny human calls you! Explore language development, fine and gross motor skills, co-operation, and an over-all good time!
You will see your baby smile and hear them squeal with joy as they learn to recognize songs, language patterns and finger play games. They will be encouraged to experiment with a variety of percussion instruments and touch based learning.
Sarah incorporates various vowel and consonant sounds, and baby sign into her infant classes. She encourages toddlers and preschoolers to share, make new friends, and cooperate with other children and with grown ups.
Some of her songs remain consistent from week to week, but others change depending on the chosen theme or the season. Each class in your six-week session will have a focus on emotional recognition and motor skills.

Sarah has a compassionate and empowering way of working with her students no matter what age they are.
Every student deserves an environment where they can explore and learn safely. Sarah carefully plans each lesson so that her students know what to expect, and she is able to anticipate the next fun activity that will help them to enhance their musical wellness journey. She is mindful of activities that are age and developmentally appropriate and she works to develop rapport with each of her students individually even though most of her classes are taught in a group setting.
